Overview

Turvec designed and installed a bespoke 50 bike shelter, with a living roof outside the Senate Building of the University of Northampton’s £350m Waterside Campus. The brown roof and membrane system is supported with galvanised sub-fixed shelter legs and connecting joints into the existing wall.

    The University of Essex required replacement cycle parking for their continually expanding campus. Turvec transformed a redundant area of the Colchester site into a first-class bicycle facility.

    Magdalen College Oxford

    The college had reached capacity with their existing Sheffield stand bike storage. Turvec completed a site survey and prepared proposals for the College to review with the aim of doubling their bike storage provision.

    Discovery Quay Salford

    Turvec designed & installed 160 bicycle parking spaces all housed under one impressive timber clad cubic shelter. Working for Create Construction, the shelters have gates at both ends of the shelter.
