Project overview
We designed and installed ten bespoke green roof Cubic shelters to create cycle parking and bin stores for students and staff at the heart of new student accommodation in Manchester. The Cubic shelters are all powder coated and match seamlessly to the landscaped design of the area. Green gas spring covers match the green bike repair station and pump to give a distinct pop of colour.
The gas-assisted racks are easy to use and all are sheltered and weather proof thanks to the Cubic shelter, which also features integrated drainage and lighting. Finishing the project off are the green sedum roofs which can be seen from the windows of student rooms, bringing much needed greenery to the concrete courtyard.
