Project overview
At British Land’s Canada Water site, we supplied four of our Pure Eco benches to help improve the public space.
The Pure bench uses a treated Douglas softwood that is specially sourced from sustainable Dutch forests.
With the treatment process, the wood has a long lifespan, making it ideal for public spaces like Canada Water.
Sleek legs use corten steel to give an aged appearance, and are able to withstand British weather conditions year round.
The ongoing works at the site are transforming the huge 53 acres into an area made for living and working, making it one of the largest mixed use regeneration projects in London.
The Pure bench stands out for its striking design, helping bring much needed natural materials to urban environments.
