Firstly, thank you to all the entrants to our Modeshift convention Bike Repair Station raffle!
We had a fantastic number of people entering – representing various local councils, trusts, and transport planning bodies. We are pleased to announce that the lucky name drawn from the hat was Margaret Mezue of the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.
This week we met Margaret at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, to deliver the unit to the hospital.
Margaret, upon delivery of the station, added:
“I was delighted when I was informed I had won the Turvec repair station from a competition I had entered during the last Modeshift Convention. As the senior sustainability officer for the UHB, promoting active travel is my remit. It is a brilliant piece of kit and would encourage and promote staff cycle to work. Thank you to Turvec!”
We look forward to seeing the station in action and wish Margaret the best of luck continuing her work promoting active travel. Congratulations!
