Project overview
We have worked across Oxford Business Park to help improve on and create new cycle storage to help boost active travel journeys in the city.
Our mesh Cubic shelters are a robust, contemporary, and customisable enclosure that can house any one of our Turvec bike racks.
The two shelters seen here both have green sedum roofs, which not only look amazing, but help assist drainage, absorb carbon dioxide, and give a boost to wildlife.
Thanks to the modular design of our Cubic range, we were able to add an open fronted bin store to one of the shelters. With a mesh divide to the bike store, it is a neat way to combine two essential specifications.
Objectives
Creat enclosed, durable, contemporary cycle storage solution
Help boost active travel with welcoming cycle parking
Seamless delivery schedule, from enquiry to installation
Powder coating helps further protect the shelter and adds to the aesthetics. CCTV, lighting, and keycard access are all optional extras which help create a more secure and welcoming cycle parking facility for staff.
Using the extensive car parking of business parks to install cycle shelters for staff is a cost-effective way to help change more car journeys into active ones — a benefit for businesses, tenants, and staff alike.
