A new era – Turvec, a Broxap company

After a decade of independent ownership, Turvec has been acquired by Broxap, the largest street furniture manufacturer in the UK.

Founded in 2015, by George Hosegood & Rupert Harvey-Scholes, Turvec was a post-university startup that grew into a thriving business. Turvec built it’s reputation providing quality cycle parking solutions to UK construction, local authorities, corporates and rail.

By partnering with established manufacturers based in Europe, Turvec had a unique and proven product range to offer to UK customers, always with a focus on safety, security and durability.

Distributor to UK manufacturer

Turvec experienced fast growth and delivered some great projects over the years, such as the Barclays Campus, Rapha’s head office and an early one, The University of Essex.

After 9 years in business, Turvec was an established player in the cycle parking market. At this time, Turvec & Broxap had an existing trading relationship, and in late 2024 the conversation progressed towards an acquisition.

John Boyle, Managing Director of Broxap said: “We already offer a full geographical service throughout the UK, from our Staffordshire manufacturing base. Turvec’s market position, London location and its talented team, perfectly complements Broxap’s offering and its comprehensive product portfolio. We’re delighted to welcome the Turvec team into the Broxap family.”

As a UK manufacturer, Turvec can now focus on significant expansion with a more competitive product range and the backing of Broxap’s infrastructure, continuing to focus on the values of quality that the company has been built on.
